Highlights:
Many historic buildings are still located in Tierra Amarilla. Especially around or near the square there is a closed line of buildings typical of the past centuries. They are not luxury constructions - better, they are constructions that represent the common life during the past epochs. The spirit of the past centuries can still be felt in the streets and shops that have a unique trajectory.
The most important thing without doubt is a visit to the Carola Mine Museum, located near the south exit of Tierra Amarilla (Entra Carola / Ojos del Salado / Punta de Cobre).
The excellent museum covers the history of mining, geology of the sector, mineralogy and history of the Carola mine.
